I have noticed a trend recently regarding men.....Men you aren't going to like what I am about to say...so read it and weep or get defensive. I know it'll be one of them.
There is something about a weak ego that drives the chase for the next best thing; new, strategic and better ways to become wealthy, have the most expensive car, the hottest woman, the best sex, the newest gadget, and the house. This delusion satisfies the weak ego, it falsely tells you, "you are brilliant, you are successful, you have done it, yes, if I have all these things I will finally be happy". Spoiler alert....the problem is that the new strategic way to become wealthy becomes last years edition because it is never ending. You can find better women, hotter than the last, you can have better sex, there will be a new gadget coming out next year, and the house can always be improved.
These are attempts to fill the void of the avoided.
Before you know it will be the last edition, featuring No.1 hit, loneliness.
Due to fear, lack of vulnerability, true authenticity, and distraction, you allowed your false self and weak ego to run all over you and your life. Another victim perished to the competitive, egotistical, and materialistic world that we live in.
Nothing was able to satisfy the suffocating true self from experiencing a more beautiful, imperfect, spontaneous, mending life, and all it has to offer.
